Summer 2013 Puppies
Elsa gave birth to 10 puppies, 6 females and 4 males, on 8 June 2013. The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes on Saturday 3 August 2013. The puppies should grow up to be a deep mid-gold or dark gold in colour. At the moment we are not taking new enquiries because there has been such strong interest already. If you are looking for a puppy, please follow the links on the Golden Retriever links page or the link at the bottom of this page. We are also hoping that Daisy will have her first puppies around the end of 2013. We cannot be precise on dates on that because this depends upon when she comes into season.

| The puppies at four days old with Elsa | Elsa swims with a retrieve dummy | George, Tenfield Sea Patrol JW, the Dad |
We chose George because he has the most wonderful temperamant, a gorgeous golden coat, proven working ability (Working Certificate on game as well as Show Gundog Working Certificate) and he is very good physical example of the breed (Junior Warrant). George also has passed all the possible health checks, with a hip score of 7-7, an elbow score of 0 and a clear eye certificate. In addition, he is genetically clear of the two eye conditions for which there is a DNA test, PRA1 and PRA2.
Two of Elsa's puppies from previous litters have qualified as Assistance Dogs with Dogs for the Disabled while a third is doing well in training. George has a full sibling, two maternal siblings and numerous paternal siblings doing or in training for assistance work with Dogs for the Disabled or Canine Partners.
If you would like to wait for one of Daisy's puppies, please contact us. Otherwise, please see below or follow the links on the Golden links page because we have closed the list on Elsa's puppies at the moment.
