Elsa's First Puppies

9 puppies were born on the 3rd of March 2008: 5 boys and 4 girls.
Click here to some pictures of this litter of puppies.
All the puppies went at 7 or 8 weeks old. Three went to homes in England, three stayed in Wales and three went for training as assistance dogs for Dogs for the Disabled.
We mated Elsa to Teddie on New Year’s Day 2008. We chose Teddie because he has a good temperament, a very good hip score 6:3 and is a full champion. Teddie has already produced some lovely puppies.
We were very pleased with the puppies but are using a different stud dog for the second time because we want to as many puppies as possible to have the dark golden colour, which is a rarity in UK show goldens.Comments on the puppies
'These puppies are every bit as good as the ones I have at home' JC Teddie's owner
'Bustopher is a really lovely boy and is a credit to you. He will make a wonderful dog.' VM Dogs for the Disabled trainer
'The loss of our previous golden left a big hole in our life. Alfie has more than filled it. We couldn't have asked for a nicer dog.' BS Swansea
